Terms of Service
These Service Terms apply to one-time gutter-cleaning services and maintenance plans provided by Greenville Gutter Cleaners. Any service-specific quote or authorization will identify the property, authorized work, price, and scheduling.
Maintenance Plans
Maintenance plans are structured as 12-month service agreements billed monthly. Services are scheduled seasonally throughout the year, and exact service dates may vary based on weather, safety, and scheduling availability.
If a customer cancels a maintenance plan before completing 12 monthly payments, cancellation will take effect after the required 30-day notice period. The final invoice will include the next monthly plan charge covering that notice period and the initial-service discount—the difference between the standard one-time price and the discounted initial-service price.
After the initial 12-month term, the plan will continue month-to-month and may be canceled by the customer with at least 30 days’ written notice by email.
Greenville Gutter Cleaners reserves the right to modify, reschedule, discontinue service, or terminate a maintenance plan at any time. If Greenville Gutter Cleaners terminates a plan, the agreement will end without any obligation to provide future service. The customer will owe only for services already performed and charges already incurred. No future monthly charges or early-cancellation adjustment will apply.
Service Scope
Gutter-cleaning service is limited to normal debris removal from safely accessible above-ground gutters and accessible above-ground portions or openings of downspouts. Cleaning methods may include blowers, scoops, hand removal, or other appropriate methods selected according to debris conditions and safe access.
Service ends where a downspout enters the ground or connects to underground drainage. Underground drains, buried downspout extensions, weep lines, buried piping, and other below-grade drainage components are not included.
Cleaning is intended to improve water flow but does not guarantee that the gutter system will be watertight or perform as designed. Greenville Gutter Cleaners is not responsible for overflow, leaks, drainage problems, or water-related damage resulting from the existing condition, design, capacity, installation, or maintenance of the gutter system.
Pre-existing leaks, loose fasteners, corrosion, rot, sagging, improper pitch, undersized gutters or downspouts, structural defects, installation problems, deteriorated sealants, and other pre-existing conditions are outside the cleaning scope. Removing debris may reveal leaks or defects that were previously concealed or temporarily obstructed by debris.
Gutter Guards and Screens
Removable clip-in guards or screens may be temporarily removed and replaced when practical, reasonably necessary, and disclosed before service.
Existing guards or screens may be aged, brittle, corroded, damaged, deteriorated, improperly installed, or otherwise unsuitable for removal and reinstallation. Greenville Gutter Cleaners is not responsible for cracking, deformation, loss of fastening ability, or failure caused by those pre-existing conditions during reasonable removal or reinstallation.
Fastened or permanently installed guards or screens are not removed or reinstalled as part of standard service. Any permanent guard or screen removal must be separately described, authorized, and priced. Permanently removed guards or screens will not be reinstalled.
If undisclosed guards, concealed damage, incompatible installation methods, inaccessible areas, or unsafe conditions prevent the authorized work from being completed, Greenville Gutter Cleaners may stop or limit the affected work and notify the customer. No additional work or price change will be made without customer approval.
Property Access and Safety
Customers must provide reasonable exterior access, unlock required gates, secure pets away from exterior work areas, and identify known hazards.
Areas that cannot be accessed safely will not be serviced. Work may be delayed, limited, modified, or rescheduled because of weather, roof or ladder conditions, unsafe access, equipment limitations, or other safety concerns.
Customers should move vehicles, outdoor furniture, decorations, and other personal property they do not want exposed to falling leaves, dirt, water, roof grit, or gutter debris away from areas beneath or immediately surrounding the gutters.
Minor Maintenance and Repairs
Minor maintenance or repairs will be performed only when included in the selected maintenance plan or separately authorized.
Such work is limited, may be temporary, and is not a permanent structural repair. Greenville Gutter Cleaners does not guarantee the effectiveness or longevity of minor maintenance or repairs. Structural repairs, permanent repairs, roofing work, gutter replacement, and other work outside the authorized scope remain the homeowner’s responsibility.
Documentation and Payment
Photographs may be taken to document the service performed and conditions observed.
Payment for one-time service and any maintenance-plan initial cleaning is due on the day the work is completed. Monthly maintenance-plan billing will begin on the date stated in the service authorization and continue according to the accepted plan terms.
Acceptance
By accepting a gutter-cleaning service or maintenance plan, you agree to these Service Terms.
